I am a US based photographer and documentarian, currently living in Honolulu, Hawaii.

My photography isn’t used for any specific goal. It’s diaristic in nature, but I like to call myself a documentarian. If you have to twist my arm about it I’m always looking for satire and genuine moments in the human tragicomedy of everyday life.

I have made documentaries that explore the value of urban wildlife, the role of public art in international protests, and profiles of people and non profit organizations.

My first self-published photobook was a look at the school life of middle and high schoolers in a small rural farming town in South Korea.

I am currently working on my next project which is a look at the romantic idea of Hawaii that lives in the heads of tourists, as a paradisiacal vacation destination, juxtaposed with the everyday reality of life on an isolated archipelago in the middle of the Pacific.
